Carnivore #2 : Minced Beef Casserole

Carnivore Minced Beef Casserole

The 3 Steps :

 Stir-fry the minced beef.

Beat the 8 eggs.

Shred the cheddar cheese.

Step 1 : The minced beef.

A tray of frozen minced beef.

Into the rice cooker it goes.

I am cooking the frozen beef

in the rice cooker pot.

In its own fat.

No butter or tallow required.

Flip the frozen block over ...

every minute or so.

The frozen beef will soon break up.

Continue to stir-fry.

Add seasalt and pepper.

Grease the oven dish with

some butter.

The rice cooker shuts off.

Automatic.

The minced beef is ready.

Transfer the minced beef

to an oven dish.

Step 2 : The 8 eggs.

Whisk the eggs ...

with a fork.

Pour the beaten eggs over ...

the minced beef.

Step 3 : The Cheddar Cheese.

We only need about an inch

of the Cheddar block.

Shred the block of cheese ...

all over the casserole dish.

We have got it all covered.

Good.

In the Oven

at 180c @ 30 minutes.

By the way, I forgot to

preheat the oven.

Tick tock, tick tock ...

The oven bell rings.

Let's have a look.

Ooooohhh!

Hello, Casserole.

Hmmm.

You look a tad plain.

Let's dress you up a bit.

This is a packet of

spicy toasted sesame seeds.

Justine was in Japan recently.

I sprinkle a bit of the Japanese

 magic over the casserole...

for aesthetic reasons.

Add a slab of butter.

Ahh,  now enjoy.

Munch munch munch.

So, so good.

Rich and satisfying.

Carnivore #1 : 3 ingredient Buns

Carnivore Homemade Buns.

3 ingredients.

Truly ...

kindergarten easy.

Ingredients

3 eggs

milk powder / 1.5 cups

baking powder / 1 tbsp

The 3 eggs.

The milk powder.

The baking powder.

(aluminium free)

#1 : Whisk the eggs.

#2 : Add the baking powder.

Whisk again.

#3 : Add half of milk powder.

Stir the mixture.

Add the balance of milk powder.

Stir and fold till it

becomes a sticky dough.

#4 : Wet both hands.

Grab a handful of dough ...

and bounce it from one hand ...

to the other,

in quick movements,

forming a ball.

Butter your Pyrex.

Generously.

Place the balls in the Pyrex.

I'm not sure why they look

so flattened here.

They were nice balls a minute ago.

#5 : Oven at 180c for 15 mins.

Check at 12 mins or so.

Bake longer if buns look pale.

How long?

Agak-agak.

I am pretty amazed with

the buns.

Cut a slab of butter.

Bryan is in total disbelief

that this bun came from our oven.

The texture is soft.

Just like warm bread.

I peel my bun in half.

Tuck the butter in.

Yummy.

Super delicious.
