Day 55 ... Sweet and Sour Garoupa Steak

SWEET AND SOUR GAROUPA STEAK
WITH BROWN RICE

Bryan cooked dinner tonight.

He wanted to eat fish. So decided to fry a fish steak and made sweet and sour sauce for it. Since it involved frying, I stayed clear of the kitchen. :D

Thumbs-up!
Yet another masterpiece from Chef Bryan. :D

The sizzling sauce ...

1. The Fish
Season the fish with seasalt and pepper,
and a light coat of arrowroot powder
to ensure that the fish is dry.

Heat up oil in frying pan. Fry the fish steak.
When crispy and done, remove and place on serving dish.

2. The Sauce
Sauce garlic, ginger and onions (chunks) in the remaining oil.
Add carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes, enoki mushrooms and fresh chilly (strips).

He wanted to add pineapples and cucumbers
but we did not have them at the time of cooking.
Mix a bowl of water with arrowroot powder,
shoyu, ketchup, lime juice, sugar and brown rice vinegar.

Pour mixture in the pan. Stir contents to mix.
Add strips of spring onions. Pour gravy over the fish.

3. Tempeh
Stir-fry tempeh in sesame seed oil.
Add water. Add dark soya sauce.
A simple side dish high in protein.

The sweet and sour sauce was perfect,
and the fish was delicious and crunchy on the sides. :D

I had a shake of The Green Drink in the morning,
a club of sandwich for lunch
and the above for dinner.

To Sum Up
1 shake & 2 meals
Juice. Fruit. Hemoberry. Water.
