FRIED RICE WITH PETAI
Bryan made some fried rice tonight, whilst I went to pick Justine up from her class.
Stir-fry the petai and carrots in sesame seed oil.
Transfer to a bowl.
Beat an egg. Fry it.
Add over night rice.
Pepper, seasalt, shoyu and dark soya sauce.
When almost ready, toss in the petai and carrots.
Enjoyed our dinner with the chilly sauce!
LUNCH
Bryan was meeting with some friends for tea, so lunch was light.
He prepared a simple meal of Kuan Loh Mee. I was in school at the time.
He used the remainder of chicken rice gravy
from the night before as the sauce for the noodles.
