Day 59 ... Moist Chocolate Cake

These are the ingredients. The exact measurement remains a secret only known to the girls.
Flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda,
buttermilk, eggs, vegetable oil, warm water, brown sugar and seasalt.

Then, the girls took turns to mix the ingredients at "medium" speed.

Jamie (left) and Justine (middle) broke 2 eggs in it,
while Jessie (right) supervised.

Jessie instructed : One teaspoon of seasalt.
Justine added the salt.
Then Jamie commented that the teaspoon was too big.

The cake was baking in the oven at 200 degrees celcius for about 30 minutes.
While waiting for dinner, the girls watched SpongeBob.
The smell of the cake in the oven was heavenly.

MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE

The cake turned out just PERFECT.
Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside,
with a spongy texture that is is just under sweet.
SG (the twins' mum) sprinkled some rainbow rice
over the before the photo was taken. :D
We finished one and a half (8 X 8) baking tray
of the yummy cake.
