Day 152 : Curry Chicken With Potatoes

CURRY CHICKEN WITH POTATOES

This evening, Bryan cooked curry chicken. 

By himself. With the Pressure Cooker. He says, it is awfully easy, and if I were to stay in the kitchen to help, I'd just be in the way. So there. This dish is extremely easy to prepare that You'd want NO help whatsoever from anybody. :D 

Anyone can cook this curry. :D



3 Simple Steps :

1. Blend the Ingredients.

2. Fry the Ingredients.

3. Add the rest.



The Ingredients.

We ran out of garlic.

The Spices.

Curry powder, biji ketumbar (coriander seeds), 
jintan manis (aniseed), jintan putih (cumin seeds), 
cardamons, star anise and cinnamon stick.


The amount of coriander seeds, aniseed and cumin seeds used is about one flat teaspoon.

1. Blend the Ingredients.
Blend the onions, chillies and lemon grass.

 2. Fry the Ingredients.
Fry the blended ingredients. :D 
When the oil starts to emerge, add the spices.
Fry Fry Fry.

3. Add the rest.
Add chicken. Add a small cup of water.
Add half a small can of tomato puree.
Add half a carton of fresh milk.

 Add potatoes. Add seasalt.
Close lid. Wait for the sizzle.
Turn off flame and allow the 
Pressure Cooker to do its magic!


Our family loves potatoes, hence the large amount!
