Day 138 : Seafood Paella

SEAFOOD PAELLA

This evening, Justine is helping her dad in the kitchen. They are going to prepare a spanish one pot dish known as Paella. This Paella dish is also another one of Bryan's specialty. 




3 Simple Steps:

1. Boil the Stock.

2. Blend the Ingredients.

3. Fry the Grains.


1. Boil the Stock.

Boil the shells from the prawns in filtered water.

2. Blend the Ingredients.

garlic, onions, chillies and tomatoes.

3. Fry the Grains.

Saute garlic, onions and chillies.
Toss in coriander leaves.

Add blended ingredients.
Add squid.

Add grains.
Add seasalt and one cube of chicken stock (no msg).

Pour in the stock.

Close the lid and allow the rice to simmer for a bit.

Half-way through, add onion rings and prawns.

 Add bell peppers, french peas and mushrooms.
Close the lid and allow the rice to cook.
 Hmmm ... Would You look at the fluffy rice?
It's absolutely tantalizing!

Justine had 3 bowls of her Dad's Paella!
The rice is extremely tasty with the homemade stock.


Today, I had one shake of The Green Drink and 
sandwiches for lunch. Skipped dinner (didn't feel well).
I only had the Paella the day after, and my, 
was it absolutely delicious or what!
The rice was amazing! :D
