Flatulence ...

8pm @ Fish & Co

Justine and I took Bryan out to dinner at Fish & Co, Bangsar Village 2, for a belated Father's Day dinner. After having such delicious BBQ at the waterfall, we re-ignited our appetite for grilled food and ordered the Seafood Platter. The decoration on the top was a small portion of caesar salad with salmon, uh, designed ... in that position by Bryan. It was after the raw salmon, I believe, that gave Bryan and myself flatulence. Stomach was so uncomfortable and felt like bursting with excess air. I had this problem the last time I went for Japanese buffet and overate the salmon sushi. This time, I only had 2 slim slices of salmon, but the feeling was the same.

The time was 12:30 midnight. After tossing and turning in bed, and pressing the tummy down to reduce the discomfort, I asked Bryan, shall we just take the FloraGuard and have a story to tell tomorow??? (which means today) Bryan said ok. So, went to the kitchen and made a glass of FloraGuard. Thankfully we still had about one tablespoon left. So scraped off every bit of the powder on the bottom of the bottle, and made the drink. Drank half, and gave the other half to Bryan. Less than 15 minutes later, the balloon bloated feeling disappeared. Bryan was already asleep. Had to wake him up, and ask, how's your stomach? Is the pain gone? He said, yeah gone. 15 minutes -  Yup, I actually came out to the dining room to check the clock on the wall.

brunch ...

Sunday, June 20, 2010 @ 11:30am

We had scrambled eggs and bread for breakfast. Toasted some more garlic bread. Cleared the place and packed up before leaving. Right outside the "jungle" are some shop houses, one of which sells the typical merbok wan tan mi. Home made noodles, very different from the normal wan tan mi noodles that we're used to. So, even though we had taken our breakfast, except for me (I had to decline bc the 3 pieces of lamb chops still not fully digested), we HAD TO take the noodles before leaving. It's our tradition ...
