what a feast ...

sunday, june 13, 2010
12pm @ leha kelfood

we had a grand feast of all kinds of kelantanese food. ayam percik was my favourite. bryan like the nasi dagang. carol couldn't make up her mind whether the nasi kerabu was nicer or nasi dagang. our daughter, justine, had just about all the curries on her plate. my mom was so impressed by the selection she wanted to know whether they do catering, for future church events. hah. so now that everything's cleaned up and in our bodies, all we have to do is to remember to take flora guard and viva shield when we get home later. a must esp when we've been taking spicy & fried food.

carol's birthday lunch ...

sunday, june 13, 2010
10:30am @ leha kelfood, melawati

carol's birthday today. bryan brought us to this malay restaurant in melawati, on the way to genting highlands (i think he said) called leha kelfoods. thought it was a strange name. kelfood??? what's that about??? then bryan said, it stands for KELANTAN. ohhh, i seeee ... this restaurant displays their food and dishes like a buffet spread. was impressed with their cleanliness, no flies around the food.

back pains ...

saturday, june 12, 2010
4pm @ viva center

one of carol's friends asked if he could have a free consultation about his back pains. was only too happy to introduce him to mr hii, the nutritionist. so mr hii asked him some questions, and he provided some answers, and in the end, mr hii advised that he tried vivaguard and calmag. i jumped in and told him i'd let him have a week's supply of those tablets. didn't want him to think he was invited to the event and was trapped into buying something. he really did seem like a nice guy. in fact, the whole bunch of carol's friends who came to vote for her were really nice people. he said, wah, good sales woman. when was the last time anyone called me that??? anyway, arranged to pass the tablets to him. told him if the tablets worked, he can consider buying the products. :D

Look-A-Like ...

saturday, june 12, 2010
3pm @ viva center
managed to convince my sister, carol, to participate in the Look-A-Like Contest that. not many doctors would be so sporting as to do something silly like that, but she did. we did. decided to wear identically to look more alike. she invited her friends over to support her, and we got the most votes in the end. received a mock product voucher of rm222. what a nice pre-birthday present for her. by the way, we got all the personal Q and A right. Hah. How about that? How did we do it? Cheated a bit ... hand sign, eye signal, the look etc.
