swimming ...

8pm @ Condo Pool

Bryan went for a swim after dinner. Not right after though. I didn't swim. I was told that frogs swam in the pool at night. So walked around the pool instead while Bryan did his laps. Think I must have walked about 15 rounds before I rested on the deck chairs. Did my breathing exercises and felt all the good fresh air being circulated in my body. :D

As a summary, 2 shakers of The Green Drink and 1 meal on Day 6.

Rice with Grilled Teriyaki Salmon,
Tempeh & Vegetables, and Mushroom Omelette

Prepared a simple dinner. Not supposed to be feasting while on a cleansing program. Day 6 is about to be over and so far, it's been good. Didn't want to spoil it now.

(1) Marinated a piece of salmon with teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, pepper and sea salt and grilled it in the oven.

(2) Beat 4 eggs to steam. Added water, pepper and sea salt. Looked pale and boring. So, roughly chopped some oyster mushrooms and diced half a tomato and scattered over it.

(3) Stir fried tempeh (see the rectangular food?) with sesame oil. Dished out. Stir fried the green vegetables. Added water, sea salt and shoyu. Didn't bother with garlic and onions. Actually, completely forgot about that. Threw veg in. Added the tempeh.

Today is my first day taking RICE since the detox. Didn't think plain white rice could taste so good. See the black spots on the tempeh? Burnt marks. Free radicals. Have to pop in some antioxidants later.  :D

10am @ Tadika Lagenda

Was in school this morning. Peeped into the Bambi class, and couldn't help but feel pretty impressed seeing the lil 2 and 3 year olds sitting down in their chairs, eyes focused on the white board, and listening to the teacher. A little bambino stepped forward to demonstrate on counting, while the rest watched and took turns to step up in front.

Had 2 shakers of The Green Drink, for breakfast and lunch. Today, am back to 2 scoops of protein powder. One scoop is not sufficient to replace a meal, as I felt the day before. Was snacking on 3 tiny bananas and a fuji apple. :D
