Day 116 : Sambal Tumis Squid with Long Beans

 SAMBAL TUMIS SQUID
with LONG BEANS

This evening, I'm gonna stir-fry some squid with the remaining long beans that I still have in the fridge. I have to cheat a bit here, since Bryan is still not home, I can't use homemade chilly spices. Besides, I'm not allowed to use the blender. A restriction I imposed on myself. So, I bought a ready-made packet of "sambal tumis." :D

3 simple steps :

1. Saute Ingredients

2. Add Squid

3. Add Vegetables

1. Saute Ingredients
Saute garlic, onions and ginger until fragrant.
Add a packet of ready-made sambal tumis.

2. Add Squid
Add half a carton of fresh milk.
Add squid. Add curry leaves.

I'm also adding some tomato puree
and chopped chillies as I find the
sambal tumis quite sweet.

Bring to boil on medium heat.

3. Add Vegetables
It takes only a few minutes for the squid to cook.
When the curry looks about ready, somehow You'll just know,
add the long beans. Squeeze some lime juice in.

Say Abra-ca-da-bra ...

Lo and behold!
Your squid curry dish is ready! :D

I have also boiled a mixture of brown and white rice
with organic black beans in the Pressure Cooker.

 Here's Dinner! :D
Keep all the forks and spoons ...

Today, I had 2 shakes of The Green Drink
soup for lunch and the above for dinner.

To Sum Up
2 shakes & 1 meal
Juice. Water. BioFruity.
