we arrived in penang (juru toll) at 2:30pm. drove to penang road for the mich awaited cendol ...

hor fun ...

we stopped by ipoh to have lunch. reached ipoh toll at 12 noon. a wonderful hor fun meal with fragrant steamed chicken and crunchy beansprouts.

Our weekend trip to the waterfalls in kedah. sungai petani to be more precise. we were gonna stay one night in penang, and going over to the waterfalls the next day. bryan was driving, his mother in the front seat, justine, myself and aunty hayley behind.

renee and i had lunch at cravings, serious catchin' up at mph members' lounge and ended our day with tea latte at coffee bean. her mum wanted to get some info on supplements for diabeties. so called mr hii, our nutritionist, and passed the phone so he could advise directly. not sure what he said. didn't eavesdrop ...

12am @ home

justine (right) and cousin pauline are showing off their braces. we were at castell yesterday afternoon for lunch. bryan had a caesar salad, justine and i shared a mixed grill that came with grilled chicken, lamb, sausage, 2 big prawns, a small potato topped with sour cream and spring onions, a side salad and a heap of sweet baby corn. yup, we're warming up for the BBQ on saturday at the waterfall. :D

bryan just called and said, i'm your first follower. aiyoh. so embarrassing. can't the FOLLOWER box be like invisible or something? does it have to be like so bolded??? wait let me go ask my godson to make it disappear. so discouraging, i think ... looking at the big fat ONE. Eh, but then again, according to the see-foos, just watched karate kid 2 days ago, the journey of one thousand miles must begin with ONE single step. Ahah!!! In that case, got some hope. never thought i would be blogging. it's not like me to sit before my computer and talk to ... no one. my son, daniel, and i used to laugh at people who blogs, at the time his sister, justine, had a blog, so we were actually laughing at just her ... yeah, she's the people we were laughing at ... hehe ... we would be mean and say mean things like, only people who have nothing better to do will blog. people who have no life will sit for hours before the computer. she quit finally, no time having spm soon ... but, now look at me ... yikes! 8S

managed to get my godson to change my blog from the rainbow vector one (the one that had to be discontinued bc got no archive support) to this one. chose this template from gisele & birdie's website, called "news from the sky." tot ideal for my purpose but just noticed the wordings on the blog are in latin. oh well ... how's that for exotic?
